Our Tan Sanaa Plate from was intricately handcrafted with raffia, evocating natural and organic aesthetics. Each one tells a story. Mothers have been passing the traditional practice of weaving down to their daughters for centuries. They are more than baskets. They are sources of pride for an entire nation, and in the livelihoods of the women in Ugandan communities. Meaningfully and purposefully designed, each raffia plate has a woven loop that allow you to hang it up on the wall as a decorative piece.
